Non-renewable energy resources are formed over millions of years from the remains of dead plants and organic matter. In the case of coal, these materials were buried deep inside the earth and were subjected to heat, pressure, and the action of microorganisms. Through this process, they were transformed into hydrocarbons that we know as coal. It is important to note that non-renewable resources, such as coal, cannot be replaced once they have been consumed. Once they are used up, they cannot be brought back to their original form. This is why it is crucial that we explore and develop renewable energy resources that can be replenished naturally over time.
