The peptide bond between amino acid residues forms the backbone that covalently holds protein molecules together. This backbone is usually called the "main chain". Which are the two amino acid side chains whose structures resemble that of the main-chain peptide bond? Draw out a scheme whereby these side chains could form two hydrogen bonds with the peptide group simultaneously.
