How cell division and reproduction are not equivalent in multicellular organisms. Introduction: Cell division is the process in which the parent cells divide into two daughter cells with the same genetic information. Single-celled organisms are also called as unicellular and it consists of a single cell. The multicellular organisms are made up of many cells.
