Xiaomi Notifications Troubleshooting

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot the push notification issue on your Xiaomi phones.

01Battery Usage Management

  • Go to the main settings of your phone and type 'Manage app’s battery usage' on the search bar.
  • Then click on the 'choose apps' option.
  • You will see a list of apps on the screen, click on Filo and choose the 'no restrictions' option.
  • Then go back to the home screen.

02Notification Permissions

  • Go to the main settings of your phone and type, 'Permissions' on the search bar.
  • On the screen, you will be presented with some options, click on 'Auto-start'.
  • You will then see some options of apps on the screen with a toggle button.
  • Switch Filo toggle to on.
  • Then go back to the home screen.

03Turn On Notifications

  • Go to the main settings of your phone and type 'app notification'.
  • Then choose Filo, and use the toggle button to switch on the 'show notification' and 'priority' option.

04Lock App Option

  • Open the Filo app and immediately go to the homepage without killing the app.
  • Then click on the 'Recent apps' button, it can be found on the bottom left side of the phone with 3 horizontal lines.
  • After that, place your finger on the Filo app and pull it in downward direction.
  • You will see with two options, lock and info.
  • Select lock and then press the back button.

05Developers Options Change

  • Go to the main settings of your phone and select the “about phone” option at the bottom.
  • Then click on the “MIUI version” 8 times and go back to settings and select the “additional settings”.
  • You will find 'Developer options', click on that and select 'memory optimization' and turn it off.
  • After that you will be asked to reboot the device, please do that.
  • Post that all your notifications from the Filo app should be delivered.

These steps should enable all the notifications of the Filo app on your phone.
