Yellow fever in humans is spread by Aedes. The precautions to be taken for the control of yellow fever are the following. Spraying insecticides to kill mosquitoes during their developmental stages. Elimination of small ponds and puddles to prevent breeding of mosquito. Spraying kerosene on the surface of water to prevent the dissolution of oxygen and thus the larvae of the mosquitoes can be destroyed. Introducing certain fish in the ponds which eat the mosquito.
