Answer: Yes, it is possible that an object is in the state of accelerated motion due to external force acting on it, but no work is being done by the force. When a body is rotating uniformly in a circular path, the direction of centripetal force and the displacement are perpendicular to each other. In this condition, the work done will be zero.
