Find the distance of the following points from the origin:

$C(−4,−6)$.

Distance formula: $(x_{2}−x_{1})_{2}+(y_{2}−y_{1})_{2} $

Distance from origin $O(0,0)$ and the given points (x, y) is

Distance formula: $x_{2}+y_{2} $

$C(−4,−6)$

$OC=(−4)_{2}+(−6)_{2} $

$=16+36 $

$=52 $

$=213 $ units.
