NEET-UG Qualifying Codes: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the NEET 2022 application form available online at neet.nta.nic.in. On July 17, 2022, the NEET 2022 test will be held. Eligible students can apply for the medical entrance exam till the NEET registration form closes on May 6, 2022. The deadline for paying the NEET 2022 fee is May 7. Read further to know about the qualifying codes for the NEET-UG 2022.

According to the NEET eligibility criteria (2022), there are now 7 qualification codes. To be eligible for NEET 2022, applicants must meet the prerequisites outlined in code number. Candidates can fill up their NEET 2022 qualification code based on their educational credentials during the NEET 2022 registration process.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 1-

As per the NEET 2022, Code 1 is only eligible for candidates entering class 12th in 2022; candidates in this category must pick 01 as their qualifying code.

Candidates taking the class 12th examination in 2022 and whose results are pending may apply and take the test. However, if students do not pass the qualifying test with the required percentage of marks in the first round of counselling, they will be ineligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS programs.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 2-

As per the NEET Qualifying Code 2, candidates who have completed their qualifying examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination must opt for this.

Students can choose this if a student has completed 12 years of schooling under Higher/Secondary examinations or any other examination equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or any other elective as one of the major subjects.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 3-

Candidates who have finished their class 12 will come under Code 3 of the NEET 2022 Qualification Code system.

Graduates who must have physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology as compulsory subjects (together with practical tests in these disciplines) in the intermediate/pre-degree examination in science of an Indian university, board, or other recognized examining body, along with English as a compulsory subject.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 4-

When filling out the NEET 2022 Application Form, candidates who have finished their class 12 and other pre-professional examinations must select Code 4 as their qualifying code.

After passing either the Higher Secondary Test or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination, the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English is required. Practical exams on these topics and English as a compulsory subject should be included in the Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination.

NEET Qualifying Code 5-

Candidates must indicate Code 5 in the NEET 2022 application form if they are in their first year of a B.Sc or comparable three-year degree program.

Anyone who has completed the first year of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized school can take Code 5, which includes practical examinations in physics, chemistry, biology, and biotechnology.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 6-

Candidates who completed their B.Sc exam with PCB subjects must indicate Code 6 in their NEET 2022 application.

They must have taken the B.Sc. Test of an Indian university with at least two disciplines Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology. They must also have passed the prior qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

NEET-UG Qualifying Code 7-

As per the NEET qualifying code 7, Candidates who have passed a university or school examination comparable to a Class 12 examination and have completed two years of study in Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry, and English, as well as practical exams.

Important Note: To be eligible for the NEET-UG competitive admission test, a candidate must have passed any of the qualifying examination codes listed above or be required to take the qualifying examination in 2022.

Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC categories must have a combined score of 40% in PCB disciplines. Candidates in the PwD category must get a minimum of 45 % in all PCB topics taken together.

Candidates who qualify for the test from outside India and want to study medicine in India must have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English at the 12th-grade level.
