Admission Process for MBBS at AIIMS Delhi: 

Candidates must next fulfill the NEET cutoff, which means they must get a score that is equal to or higher than the stated NEET cutoff.

  • Aspirants to the MBB.S. program must apply for the NEET-UG exam.
  • It should be remembered that during the option filling at the time of counselling, aspirants must select AIIMS Delhi as their first preference.

This course lasts 5.5 years, or 4.5 years plus a one-year mandatory internship.

  • Outsiders are not permitted to intern at the AIIMS.
  • The three stages and semesters of the MBBS program are as follows:
    1. Pre-clinical research (1 year): Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Physiology (Phase I)
    2. Para Clinical (12 months)
    3. Clinical (2 years)
  • Internship – one year = January to December (Batches to be determined by the Academic Section)
  • Stipend: Interns are entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 8900/- or more, as per directives issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Documents Required at the time of Admission:

After their eligibility has been verified, candidates selected for admission to the AIIMS MBBS program should produce the following authentic certificates, testimonials, and papers to the admissions office.

  • Certificate of passing the 10+2 or similar examinations, indicating the course offered in the examination by him/her.Applicant
  • Applicant’s birth date is shown on a Marksheet and certificate issued from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination.
  • Mark sheet from the Board from which the applicant completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination proving that he/she received 60% or more in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (50% in the case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability).
  • Applicant’s migration certificate from the last university or board he/she attended.
  • Certificate from the appropriate authorities indicating that he or she falls within the Persons with Benchmark Disability category (if applicable).
