1. What is the Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET 2022?

Given below are the eligibility criteria for registering for the IPU CET, for both undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses:

·        The student should have passed class 12 from a recognized board.

·        Only Indian candidates can apply.

·        The age limit for registration (UG courses) is above 18 years. However, the applicant should not be more than 21 years of age.

·        Minimum qualification for Postgraduate students is graduation.

·        The age limit for PG applicants should not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years.

·        For candidates opting for M.Tech: They should score 60% in B.Tech or any other streams of engineering like Mechanical engineering.

·        Applicants opting for B.Tech should have passed the 12^th standard with 55% marks in the science subjects (and English) as their main education stream.

·        For MBA, the applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or should have passed well in ICAI/ICSI/ICWAI exams.

2. When will the Indraprastha University CET 2021 exam be conducted?

After the release of admit cards, the exams start 3 to 4 weeks after.

3. What is the IPU CET 2022 counseling procedure?

The IPU CET 2021-22 counseling process goes something like this:

·   The counseling fee has to be paid (Rs. 1000/- approx.) and the applicant has to fill in their personal details.

·    After that, you can pay via net banking or any other means that you prefer. Do keep a copy of the receipt after submitting the fee.

·   Next comes to the registration process in which the applicant has to fill in their academic details in the CET section.

The most important thing here is choice filling. The applicant will not be allotted seats if they don’t do this part of the procedure. Students have to select their options from all combinations of courses as well as institutions. 

You can fill the maximum number of choices since this would increase your odds of getting the seats you want. Lastly, click on the ‘save’ button and get a printout to keep with you furthermore.

After the last round of allotment, spot counseling is done as the final admission step for the IPU CET.

4.   What are the documents are required for IPU CET 2022 counseling?

Necessary documents for IPU CET counseling procedure:

·   Seat Allotment Letter

·   Rank Card of IPU CET

·   Admit Card of IPU CET

·   Class 10^th mark sheet and certificates

·   Class 12^th mark sheet and certificates

·   2 passport size photographs (same)

The seat allotment is done during the counseling process of the IPU CET. After paying the counseling fee, the applicant can proceed to the allotment of seats. There will be a few rounds conducted for the seat allotment and it will end with the final counseling spot

7. What is the IPU CET Exam Pattern for 2022?

The CET exam is conducted offline, every year. The exam paper is of 600 marks in totality and has to be answered in English.

The duration of the exam is150 minutes for the B.Tech course and.3 hours for other courses. The objective-type questions will have 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. 

8. How to check the IPU CET result for 2022?

Checking your result after the exams is easy. Follow these steps to find out your CET result:

·   When you go to the official website of IPU CET, click on the link associated with the results.

·   Download the PDF for the subject you opted for.

·   After you’re done, choose the ‘submit’ option or click on the ‘submit button.

That’s it! You will get your result on the display.

9. What is the IPU CET Syllabus for 2022?

The syllabus for the CET is varied, depending on the course you’re opting for.

If you’re applying for PG courses, the syllabus will be on the basis of your UG course studies. Likewise, the syllabus for UG courses will be based on various topics from class 12^th, depending on your stream of education.

For example, for pursuing an MBA, the syllabus has logic and reasoning, English, Math, Data Interpretation, and so on.
