In a newly rolled out format, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the board examination for classes 10th and 12th in two terms – Term 1 and Term 2. Of which, students are writing the first term of the board examination while the updated CBSE Board Term 2 exam pattern is now out.
CBSE took the decision given the coronavirus pandemic and after promoting or passing students based on their previous performances. Although, the later marking scheme received a mixed reaction from students, parents and teachers.
Soon after the first term is over, the academic session will proceed further for the Term 2 board examination, held in March-April 2022. Here is all you need to know about the Term 2 board examination for classes 10th and 12th.
Overview: CBSE Exam Pattern 2022!
Towards the end, term 2 will include the exam duration of 2 hours, unlike term 1, where the students were given a maximum of 90 minutes to attempt the complete paper. In term 2, the questions paper will require students to face subjective, i.e., case-based or situation based, open ended-short answer or long answer type questions.
If the situation does not permit conducting a normal descriptive examination, the Board may conduct a 90-minute multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based exam, similar to the previous term.
