Chylomicron is composed of fats and lipids. It has 80% lipoprotein which counts to one of the highest consituent of lipoprotein. Blood and lymphatic fluid is the main site of this molecule. It actively takes part in the transport of the fat from the intestine to the liver and finally to the adipose tissue. Enterocytes synthesizes the lipids absorbed in the small intestine. Triglycerides within the chylomicrons are broken down into the fatty acid by enzyme lipase.
