Pollen grains contain the male gametophyte produced by meiosis of microspore other cells that are located along the inner edge of the microsporangia. The outer part of the pollen is exine, which is composed of a complex polysaccharide, sporopollenin. Inner part is intine. the cell contains vegetative cell which develop into the pollen tube and germ pore and generative cell (degenerative) are also present.
