Text solutionVerified
Oxalis and Viola bear cleistogamous flowers which never open. They have bisexual flowers with anther and stigma lying very close to each other. When anthers dehisce in the closed flowers the pollen grains fall down on stigma, thus effecting pollination followed by fertilization which leads to assured seed set.
